Viacom/CBS Cuts Ties With Nick Cannon After Remarks
VIACOMCBS IS ENDING ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH NICK CANNON BECAUSE OF HIS "ANTI-SEMITIC" COMMENTS
(CNN) – Viacom CBS is reportedly cutting ties with Nick Cannon.
People Magazine reports that the media company made the decision after Cannon made anti-semitic remarks on a recent
Episode of his YouTube series, Cannon’s Class.
Viacom CBS says it supports education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry. But says the 39-year-old Wild-N-Out host didn’t acknowledge or apologize for promoting hateful speech and spreading anti-semitic conspiracy theories.
Cannon has worked with Viacom CBS for years.
He’s starred in several shows on the company’s networks, including MTV and Nickelodeon.
