Lori Loughlin, Husband Request Bail
ACTRESS LORI LOUGHLIN AND HER HUSBAND, MOSSIMO GIANNULLI, ARE REQUESTING BAIL REDUCTION AHEAD OF THEIR AUGUST 21 SENTENCING IN THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS SCANDAL; THEY ARE CURRENTLY OUT ON $1M SECURED BONDS
(CNN) – Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, are asking for bail reductions.
It comes ahead of their August 21st sentencing in the college admissions scandal.
They are both free on $1 million bonds, currently secured by property.
The couple wants them reduced to unsecured, $100,000 bonds.
The couple confessed to paying $500,000 to get their two daughters into USC as fake crew team members.
They both pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge.
Under the deal, Loughlin will get two months in prison and Giannulli will get five months.
They will also be fined and sentenced to community service.
So far, 25-people have been charged in the college admissions scandal.
