Typical Summer Time Pattern Today And For The 4th Of July!

We’re in store for a typical Summer Weekend. Daily showers and thunderstorms are possible, during the peak heating hours in the day. Only a hand full of communities will see rain, with the main lifting shifting southwestward of our area. I’ll cap rain chances at 40% for both today and the 4th of July. Highs will run slightly above average in the lower to middle 90s. Heat index values will easily approach 100 degrees today and tomorrow. If your heading to the Northern Gulf of Mexico Beaches for the weekend expect a wet and stormy weekend ahead. Remember if your out grilling or on the lake when you hear thunder it’s time to find inside shelter.
