Mexico Surpasses 230,000 Confirmed Cases
MEXICO HAS SURPASSED 230,000 CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID-19, THE SAME DAY THE CAPITAL ALLOWED SOME RESTAURANTS TO REOPEN
(CNN) – Mexico has surpassed 230,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The country’s Health Ministry announced on Wednesday there are now 231,770 registered infections nationwide.
So far, Mexico has registered 28,510 deaths from coronavirus.
The figures come on the same day that Mexico City reopened some of its restaurants with up to 30% to 40% of their capacity, with the higher number allowed for establishments with outdoor patios and terraces.
