A Hot And Humid Monday
Another hot and humid day! Today should be the hottest day so far with a high around 95 degrees for the Columbus area. Heat index values will approach the century mark in many locations. Rain and thunderstorm chances will remain typical for a hot summer day, with most locations remaining dry today. High pressure will be in control of the area today before weakening tomorrow and sliding toward the Texas coastline. This will allow higher than average rain chances through the rest of the week, as several upper level disturbances affect the area. Some of the storms later in the week could be strong to severe.
Stay Hydrated Today!! And Weather Smart!!
