Iconic Times Square McDonald’s Closes Its Doors
MCDONALD'S SAYS IT DECIDED TO CLOSE ITS TIMES SQUARE LOCATION BEFORE THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC HIT
(CNN) – Visitors to Times Square now have to walk a bit further to satisfy a Big Mac attack.
McDonald’s closed its iconic restaurant in Manhattan’s flashiest quarter.
The golden arches location on 42nd street opened in 2002; at a time when many retailers were opening flagship locations in the area.
The company says it decided to close that branch before the coronavirus pandemic hit.
New Yorker’s thinking it’s a good time for the great taste won’t have too far to trek, though.
Ronald and the gang opened a new flagship restaurant just three blocks away last year.
