Russell County Seeks First Winning Season Since 1998

RUSSELL COUNTY WARRIORS READY FOR 2020 SEASON

The Russell County Warriors are looking for their first winning season since 1998. After three months of not being able to condition or practice due to coronavirus precautions, they feel like they’re right where they need to be.

“I’ve never been though this and nobody has, but I do know this… the attitude is great, they’re better conditioned than I thought and we’ve had great consistency with our workouts,” said Russell County head coach, Mark Rose.

The Russell County Warriors open up the season on August 21st when they take on Smiths Station.
