BTS AND BIG HIT ENTERTAINMENT DONATE $1 MILLION TO HELP CONCERT CREWS

(CNN) – Korean pop group BTS and Big Hit Entertainment are working to help concert crews hurting financially due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The two have teamed up to donate $1 million to live nation’s charity campaign, crew nation.

Crew nation helps live show staffers who are out of work due to canceled events.

Live nation launched crew nation in March.

The group initially donated $10-million to help more than a thousand concert workers.

Some were scheduled to work on the BTS “Map of the Soul” tour, which was postponed in April.

BTS also donated $1 million to black lives matter.
