A Hot and Humid Start to Summer

The summer season kicks off Saturday at 5:44 PM EDT and it will feel like it this weekend as daytime temperatures get hot. In fact, we’ll be eyeballing the low to mid 90s Saturday through Monday. It will also be dry as high pressure sets in and keeps the rain mostly bay although there could be a few very isolated showers on Saturday. I put the chance at less than 10%.

A better chance for rain enters back into the forecast on Monday with an approaching cold front that could trigger widely scattered showers and isolated afternoon thunderstorms especially as we get into Tuesday/Wednesday. Some storms could turn strong, so we’ll need to stay weather aware.

Keep smiling!
