Highs and Lows on the Rise
There will be just enough moisture and instability to trigger a few isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two on Friday as temperatures begin to creep back near seasonal. Expect highs in the mid to upper 80s under mostly cloudy skies tomorrow afternoon.
A ridge of high pressure will build in to help keep the weekend dry to start the summer season with highs in the low to mid 90s. Early next week, an upper level low residing in the Great Lakes region will steer a cold front toward the southeast bringing the potential for widespread storms that could turn strong, but it’s still a too early to get a handle on the timing and potential strength of the storms. Definitely something we will need to keep an eye on.
