Mainly Dry Conditions this Week
Low pressure just off the Carolina coast will help keep low level northeasterly flow moving through the region allowing for a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon. Increased cloudiness could keep daytime temperatures a few degrees below normal, but breaks for sunshine could bring those temps a few degrees higher than forecasted.
That area of low pressure will begin to lift to the north on Wednesday, but there will remain a chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday on the back end of that low. Temperatures also start to warm back up hitting the 90s by the weekend. The good news is dew points will hover below uncomfortable levels for most of the area although it could get quite sticky especially in our southern counties.
