More Rain for Sunday
Ample tropical moisture continues to stream into the region and will trigger scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms today. The air will feel quite thick with all that moisture as temperatures hit the mid to upper 80s this afternoon. Isolated showers remain possible tonight into the morning under mostly cloudy skies. Lows will flatten out in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Cristobal is expected the make landfall in Louisiana by tonight then move inland. He’ll get absorbed by a front coming out of the west by Tuesday which will push plenty of rain our way Tuesday and Wednesday. Periods of heavy rain will be possible.
