Floyd Mayweather To Pay For Floyd’s Funeral

(CNN) – Floyd Mayweather is honoring the memory of George Floyd.
The boxing champ tells ESPN that he’s covering funeral costs for the unarmed man who died eight-days ago while in police custody.
The death has sparked numerous protests nationwide over the past few days.
Floyd’s memorial is scheduled for June 9-th, according to family lawyer Ben Crump.
Former police officer Derek Chauvin is being charged with Floyd’s death.
He knelt on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes.
Three other officers who were at the scene have not been charged.
A spokesperson for Mayweather promotions tells ESPN that Mayweather wanted to keep this matter anonymous.
