A new survey finds many professionals plan to keep working through the summer.
More than 28% of office workers surveyed by staffing firm Robert Half, say they plan to take fewer vacation days this year compared to last year.
37 percent say they are saving their vacation time for later in the year, with hopes to travel.
Employers may need to nudge their workers to use their vacation time.
66-percent say there has been no communication from their manager about using vacation.
25 percent say they have been encouraged to take time off.
While 9 percent say they’ve been discouraged from using their vacation.
