Warmer Today With Less Rain Coverage

Less rain and thunderstorms coverage is expected today, over our area. An area of drier air will work into the area and hinder our rain chances a little. The peaking heating and moisture in the  air will still help isolated to scattered storms to develop but just not as many as the previous days. The Storm Prediction Center has also outlined our viewing area in a marginal risk for sever weather today, with damaging winds and large hail being the main threats. This threat of severe weather should remain isolated in our area. Highs today will push into the middle and upper 80s for most locations. Heat indices will be in the 90s for some locations. Expect shower and thunderstorm activity to continue tonight with lows in the middle 60s.
