Google To Reopen Some Offices In July
GOOGLE TO START BRINGING MORE EMPLOYEES BACK TO OFFICES IN JULY
(CNN) – More Google workers will be headed back to the office in July.
CEO Sundar Pichai told employees on Tuesday that the company will start re-opening more buildings in more cities on July 6th.
He did not specify which locations would lead the way.
But he said the work spaces will be limited to 10% of their capacity at first, increasing to 30% by September.
Pichai also told workers to expect to see very different offices than what they left.
Google is bucking the trend set by some other technology giants, including Twitter and Facebook.
They plan to have more employees working remotely after the coronavirus pandemic.
