CDC Offers Advice For Public Transit, Cars
THE CDC SAYS WHEN TAKING PUBLIC TRANSIT, WASH YOUR HANDS, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU TOUCH, AND CONTINUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCE
(CNN) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated its advice for people using public transportation and rideshares.
Most of the recommendations shouldn’t come as a surprise. Wash your hands.
Limit contact with frequently touched surfaces, like kiosks, ticket machines, turnstiles, and handrails.
Open windows when possible to improve air circulation and avoid using pool rideshares.
The CDC also advises people to travel during non-peak hours and continue to stay at least six feet apart from others.
