Your Saturday Forecast

The summer like weather pattern continues today. Highs will climb into the upper 80s for most locations with a couple 90 degrees readings to our southern counties possible. Overall, the weather pattern hasn’t changed much since yesterday with high pressure centered in the Atlantic Ocean continuing to bring in moist and warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. A weak frontal boundary will remain to our north today and will be the focus for thunderstorm development, in northern portions of Georgia.  Closer to our area expect rain chances to increase during the heating of the day with an unstable atmosphere in place. Some of the storms today could be strong again but with less coverage than yesterday. Patchy dense fog in the overnight thru early morning hours will develop again in areas that see rain later this evening.

Enjoy your Saturday and check back for updates on Facebook and Twitter.
