Brookstone’s Wes Pahl Signs to Western Kentucky

BROOKSTONE KICKER/PUNTER WES PAHL SINGS PWO OFFER FROM WESTERN KENTUCKY

Brookstone Senior kicker Wes Pahl signed his national letter of intent Friday afternoon.

The 6’5 190 pound punter and kicker signs as a preferred walk on to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

Schools in Georgia are still closed, so he held the signing at his own house.

Pahl just started kicking his sophomore year of high school and he’s built quite the resume over the last few years.

He’s hit a 52 yard field goal in a scrimmage and has one of the longest kicks in Brookstone history when he nailed a 48 yard field goal against Pacelli.

Today he put pen to paper and is officially a division one football player.

“I started kicking just to help out the team. It was fun and I had the potential so I worked and I got it,” said Pahl. “It’s gone by pretty quick, but at the same time it has felt like a long journey and it was fun.”
