90° Temperatures Coming

The pesky stationary boundary below that cutoff low finally lifts away from the region Friday. It will do this as a warm front dragging in moist air from the Gulf, so expect to get hot for the long holiday weekend. With the warmer temps, there could enough instability to kick up a better chance of isolated thunderstorms Saturday through Memorial Day.

Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the low to mid 60s. Expect partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms showers on Friday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. We’ll keep partly cloudy skies in the forecast across the weekend to go along with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Weekend highs including Memorial Day will reach the upper 80s to low 90s. Overnight lows will hover in the mid to upper 60s.

Keep smiling,
