Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Chattahoochee Valley Libraries’ Collaborate on Tea & Music Series

The show must go on, even if the gathering is virtual! Symphony U returns again in collaboration with the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries’ Margaret Carney Tea & Music Series.
This year, the concerts will be moved online to comply with restrictions on large gatherings and will be entitled Tea & Music: Symphony 101. Access to the series will be available on the websites and social media of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Links to each week’s class will be active 15 minutes before the event.
Joining the series once again will be some of the talented musicians of the CSO and Music Director George Del Gobbo.
The concert series is named to honor the memory of longtime Library volunteer Margaret Carney who was devoted to many library programs and helped establish the initial Tea & Music concerts. It is sponsored by the Libraries, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and the Muscogee County Friends of Libraries.
So brew yourself a fine cup a tea and join us for one or more of these exciting concert/lectures!
