Partly Cloudy Skies Early And Rain Showers Late

Morning Showers have exited stage right, leaving the viewing area with humid and mostly cloudy conditions. The sun will eventually, erode most of the clouds during early afternoon hours before the peaking heating forms rain showers and isolated thunderstorms through the overnight hours. We’re not looking at any strong storms today, as we had several in the area yesterday. Highs will top out in the upper 70s and lower 80s today (85 Normal High/ 63 Normal Low). The upper level over Illinois, will continue to slide southeast over the next few days and keep temperatures slightly below normal and daily rain and thunderstorm chances, for the viewing area. Keep the rain gear near for brief showers and isolated thunderstorms.
