Early Summer-Like Forecast

We are in store for a warm and dry weekend starting this Friday. High pressure will continue to control the weather in our region for a couple more days. Highs will top out in the middle and upper 80s in most locations, today. Possible tropical formation is possible in the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean over the next few days, only affects here will be increased subsidence(sinking air). This subsidence will cause temperatures  to rise into the low to middle 90s on Sunday. If a system forms into a tropical or subtropical storm it’s name would be Arthur, the first name of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane season.  Rain chances finally start to show back up as a cold front and an upper level, weakens the ridge and enters our area. Mainly, looking at rain showers and isolated thunderstorms forming Monday afternoon in our area.  Enjoy your warm(hot) and dry weekend!
