R. KELLY PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO CHARGES IN NEW YORK VIA TELECONFERENCE FROM CHICAGO

(CNN) – The singer has faced accusations of abuse, manipulation, and inappropriate encounters with girls and young women for more than two decades.

And he’s facing charges in multiple states, but he says he’s not guilty.

New charges from New York came down just last month and Thursday he pleaded not guilty to those too.

He went in front of a New York judge via teleconference from jail in Chicago.

Charges range from racketeering and kidnapping to forced labor and sexual exploitation of a child.
