Phenix City Central Alum, Traveon Samuel, Enters the 2020 NFL Draft
SAMUEL READY TO PLAY RUNNING BACK, SLOT RECEIVER OR HELP ON SPECIAL TEAMS
Traveon Samuel, a Phenix City Central native, is currently training in California for the 2020 NFL Draft. After graduating from Central, Samuel played three years at Louisville, then transferred to Troy before playing his final season as a grad student at Memphis.
While Samuel did not get the playing time in recent seasons, he made sure to perform in the NFL drills. He ran a 4.33 40-yard dash and 6.87 seconds in the L-Drill. The 5’8″, 175 pound running back/slot receiver is likely to be a late round pick or undrafted free agent.
