Nice Today Before Heavy Rainfall And Severe Weather Returns

It’s a mild and quiet Wednesday before storms arrive on Thursday. Increasing clouds will continue to filter the sunshine throughout the day. Otherwise highs will be in the middle 70s for most of the viewing area. Expect a small chance of rain showers later tonight. Tomorrow morning will set the stage for potential severe weather throughout your Thursday. The morning storms will have the potential to be strong to severe and of course produce heavy rainfall.  After the initial wave of storms, the main question becomes will the atmosphere be able to recover from the morning rain and storms.  If so, then we will have a significant threat of severe weather during the early afternoon hours. Large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, and strong tornadoes will be in play. Nevertheless, strong thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are at least guaranteed through a good portion of Thursday. Make sure you follow WLTZ First Weather Team for important updates on a possible significant severe weather event tomorrow.
