A Calm & Dry Monday

A robust line of storms rolled through late last night/early this morning triggering mostly thunderstorm warnings over a good portion of the viewing area that delivered strong winds over 70 mph and heavy rainfall. We did track 2 possible tornadoes (1 in Talbot County and 1 in Clay/Randolph County) and are awaiting results from survey crews to see what may have transpired. There may have also been a quick spin-up near Ellerslie and Waverly Hall in Harris County, so we’ll be looking into that also.

Expect sunny skies today with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. We’ll go with that forecast tomorrow, too. Another cold front (this one much weaker) is projected to trigger isolated showers Wednesday morning and cool daytime highs down a bit before temperatures rebound heading into the weekend.

Keep smiling,
