Strong Storms Possible This Afternoon

A warm and humid start to your Wednesday morning.  Many of you are experiencing patchy dense fog currently and that will burn off in the next two hours.  Afterwards, expect another warm humid day with highs in the low 80s.  The continued above normal temperatures today, will be responsible for high cape values (creating an unstable atmosphere). Cape values will approach 2,ooo joules of energy(that’s a lot of energy), this will fuel strong to severe thunderstorms late this afternoon thru the evening hours (5PM EST thru 9PM). Damaging winds and large hail are the main concerns for today.

Later in the week a cold front will cool us down on Friday and storms will return for your Easter Sunday.
