NFL Draft To Be Conducted Virtually
NFL'S GOODELL ORDERS UPCOMING DRAFT TO BE CONDUCTED FROM INDIVIDUAL HOMES
(CNN) – The NFL draft will happen virtually this year.
Commissioner Roger Goodell says it will take place in the individual homes of players and coaches.
The league had said it was considering two options for the three-day draft in April.
One involved trying to find a safe and legal way for teams to use their traditional “war rooms.”
The other had coaches and their staffs selecting players from their personal homes.
Social distancing won out.
The draft starts April 23rd.
Fans will be able to follow along from home; knowing participants are staying in too.
