Warm Weekend Ahead

HIGHS BACK IN THE 80S; RAIN CHANCES HOLD OFF UNTIL NEXT WEEK

After a few cool mornings, with lows near or a few degrees below normal, temperatures will climb to the upper 70s for most of us today under a mostly sunny sky. These high temperatures are actually near or slightly above normal for this time of year. Lows tonight will not be nearly as cool with 50s expected as opposed to the 40s and isolated upper 30s we’ve seen the past few nights.

A beautiful weekend is shaping up to enjoy outdoor activities. Highs will be seasonably warm with lower to middle 80s expected, while lows Sunday morning will drop to the upper 50s to around 60 degrees. No rain is in the picture until Monday, when we introduce a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Better chances for showers and thunderstorms are in the picture for the middle of next week as highs remain in the mid 80s and lows will be in the mid to upper 60s with increased moisture around. The increase in moisture and temperatures may lead to a few stronger storms by the middle of next week, but at the present time, widespread organized severe weather is not anticipated.
