A Warm and Dry Weekend Ahead

We remain in a quiet and dry pattern all the way through the weekend (although we could see a few spotty showers on Sunday) as high pressure continues to dominate the area. We’re also going to continue to get warmer with highs in the lows 80s for the weekend and the mid 80s next week. Overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s.

Low pressure coming out of the west is bringing rain toward our area, but high pressure will help keep it at bay before finally sliding out into the Atlantic allowing rain to move in to start next week. Expect isolated showers on Monday that will become widely scattered Tuesday into Wednesday. Because it is getting warmer, there will be enough instability to add in some isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

Keep smiling,
