Calmer Weather Coming
A strong storm system pushed through the two state WLTZ viewing area late this morning and into the afternoon triggering tornado damage in Barbour County (see graphic below) and wind damage in other parts of the area. The storm system has now moved off to the east allowing high pressure to slide in behind and bring calmer conditions through Friday before our next system brings a chance for showers across the weekend and into early next week.
After near seasonal temperatures today and Wednesday, we return to warmer than normal temps through at least the middle of next week. Daytime highs will reach the mid 70s to low 80s with nighttime lows in the mid 50s to low 60s through the weekend.
