SeaWorld Temporarily Furloughs 90% Of Employees
SEAWORLD IS TEMPORARILY FURLOUGHING OVER 90% OF ITS EMPLOYEES
(CNN) – SeaWorld will temporarily lay off over 90% of its employees because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Starting April 1st, the company says it won’t be able to pay most of it workers because all 12 parks closed down on March 13th.
The furloughed workers will be able to apply for unemployment benefits.
SeaWorld says it doesn’t know when the employees will be re-hired.
All of its animals are still being cared for according to officials.
