Quiet Weather Monday Before Storms Arrive On Tuesday

Hopefully, you can enjoy a nice spring day with highs near 80 today under partly cloudy skies.  This will end quickly as a strong storm system will move into our area tomorrow and bring the first chance of severe weather to the area, this Spring. Currently, most of our area is under a slight risk of severe weather, which is 2 out of 5 (on the scale of severe weather chances). All modes of severe weather are possible tomorrow including isolated tornadoes.  The timing of the storms moving through currently is between 1 to 6 PM.  If the warm front is able to lift further north then a larger magnitude of severe weather event would be possible.

After the storms move through, expect a cool down for a couple days.  Temperatures actually will fall below normal with lows in the middle to upper 40s and highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Stay Weather Aware!  Keep watching and checking social media for frequent updates from WLTZ First Weather!
