A Chance for Rain Today
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE TUESDAY
A cold front currently passing through the area could trigger a few isolated showers and maybe even a thunderstorm today. Highs will push into the low to mid 80s which remains well above average (73°) for this time of the year.
It will be dry and a tad bit cooler on Monday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s as we prepare for out next system… this one stronger. A cold front is expected to move through Tuesday into Wednesday morning. There is potential for strong to severe storms Tuesday afternoon into the evening, so we’ll need to stay weather aware. The front pulls away Wednesday, but there could be a few lingering showers on the back end of it.
Cooler air filters in behind the front easing daytime highs and nighttime lows Tuesday through late week. Daily highs will range from the upper 60s to mid 70s with lows in the 40s and 50s.
