Scattered Storms, Then Warming Up

UPPER 80S POSSIBLE FOR HIGHS BY WEEK'S END

Scattered showers and thunderstorms have dotted the viewing area this evening. They will diminish in both coverage and intensity as we get deeper into the night and we lose daytime heating. Lows tonight will be mainly in the low to mid 60s. Patchy fog may develop towards morning, especially in areas that received rainfall today.

A slight chance for a rogue shower or thunderstorms is in the offing for tomorrow. Highs will rise into the lower 80s for most of the area.

High pressure to our south will build in for the second half of the week, further suppresing rain chances while warming us up as well. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s by Thursday and Friday; it will not be out of the question for a remote place or two in the southern part of our viewing area to make a run at 90 degrees by the end of the week!

Slightly cooler weather is on tap for the weekend with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.
