Beautiful Weekend Ahead!
SUNNY SKIES, SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL TEMPS THE RULE
After weeks of murky, rainy conditions, we’re seeing a beautiful early March weekend. Low temperatures bottomed out in the 30s over our area and are rebounding nicely so far today, already eclipsing the 50 degree mark late this morning. The mercury is on its way to topping out in the upper 50s to lower 60s today. Winds will relax from the breezy conditions we experienced yesterday, making it feel much more pleasant outside.
Tonight will feature clear skies and light winds, allowing lows once again to dip into the 30s. As with this morning, some isolated more rural areas may briefly touch the freezing mark, but a widespread freeze is not expected.
Slightly warmer conditions are in the offing for Sunday with a mostly sunny sky and highs in the lower to mid 60s. Clouds will noticeably be on the increase Monday ahead of a disturbance moving toward us that will bring a chance of showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm or two later in the work week. Highs will be in the 68-75 range throughout the week as lows will moderate into the 50s for the latter part of the week as well.
