A Beautimous Weekend!

High pressure tag teaming with an upper-level ridge keeps skies sunny and conditions dry through the weekend before clouds start to move in on Monday. Although we will enjoy all that sunshine, daytime highs will stay a few degrees cooler than normal. Afternoon temperatures then look to rise above average on Monday and stay there through the rest of the work week. Lows tonight will dip to the mid 30s, mid 40s Sunday night and then hover around the mid 50s next week.

That area of high pressure will scoot off the east coast Monday as a surface low slides in from out of the west and slings a frontal boundary toward the southeast bringing rain to the northern tier of the WLTZ viewing area as early as Monday night. The front looks to stall across the southeast through Thursday, so a chance for rain stays in the forecast until then. There could be a few isolated thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday, but nothing strong or severe at this point.

Keep smiling,
