More Heavy Rainfall Through Thursday

After a pretty good soaking today (about 1.5″ at the WLTZ studios as of this writing), the rain won’t let up just yet. Flooding remains a concern as we could see another 1-3″ through Thursday afternoon. The cold front that pushed through Tuesday is lingering to our south as high pressure moves across to our north. Moisture is trapped between the two and continues to dump ample rainfall on the area. An upper low passes by tomorrow afternoon trailed by a cold front that will slide across the area by late Friday morning and finally draw in drier conditions through the weekend.

In terms of temperatures, lows will hit the upper 40s to low 50s tonight rising to the mid to upper 50s for highs on Thursday afternoon. Highs on Friday through the weekend will top out in the upper 50s to mid 60s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 30s on Friday and Saturday nights.

Keep smiling!
