POPE CANCELS EVENTS DUE TO COLD
(CNN) – Pope Francis is canceling more events because of a lingering cold.
The Pope spoke from his window on St. Peter’s Square Sunday, saying that a cold will prevent him from participating in a week-long spiritual retreat outside of Rome.
He coughed several times while talking.
The Vatican said on Thursday that the Pope was suffering from a “mild ailment” which has caused him to cancel his public events in the last four days including a mass service and official meetings.
The Vatican did not respond to a request for comment on whether Francis has been tested for coronavirus.
