Rain Finally Ending

The rain is finally moving out as high pressure begins to take over. We’ll stay rain free Friday through Sunday afternoon before another cold approaches from the west and puts a chance for rain back into the forecast as early as late Sunday night. A chance for at least isolated showers will then stay with us through the middle of next week.

The colder air will continue to keep temperatures well below normal Friday with highs in the upper 40s to around 50 and lows in the mid to upper 20s when we wake up Saturday morning. We’ll warm up to highs in the mid to upper 50s on Saturday with lows Sunday morning down into the low to mid to 30s.

There will be a possibility of black ice in Troup County overnight, so use caution when heading out to work and school in the morning.

Keep smiling!
