Another Very Mild Day With Storms Late
Another very mild start with highs expected in the low to middle 70s, today. Winds will be breezy out of the south at times between 10 to 20 MPH. Only a small chance of rain showers today. The bulk off the rain and chance for strong/severe thunderstorms will occur late tonight thru Thursday morning hours (4 to 8 AM). Currently, we are under a marginal risk for severe weather (1 out of 5), damaging winds are the main threat but I can’t rule out a brief spin-up tornado. After the squall line passes, the rain showers will only stick around a couple more hours. The actual high will be in the morning hours with the temperatures falling into upper 50s by 5 PM. You’ll really notice a different in the low temps as we will be in the middle and upper 30s, Friday morning. Winter returns Friday with highs only in the middle 50s under mostly sunny skies.
