Very Mild and Possible Strong Thunderstorms Later This Afternoon

What a very mild start to your Tuesday.  Most of us this morning had lows only into the low to middle 60s. Remember, it’s still the middle of winter!   Normal high is 61 and the normal low is 39.  The record high for today is 81 degrees and I don’t think were going to reach 81; but it’ll be close for some of us.  This warm weather will help to fuel some stronger thunderstorms later today with the best chance between 1 and 5 PM.  The flash flood watches and heaviest rainfall should stay to our north.  Expect patchy dense fog to form again later tonight into the morning hours.  Wednesday will be another very mild day with highs in the middle 70s. Only expecting some sporadic rain showers throughout the day.

The next good chance of rain and thunderstorms will occur late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.  Some of the storms could be strong to

severe.
