Three Columbus High Blue Devils Sign their National Letters of Intent

TRE PETERSON MAKES IT OFFICIAL AND SIGNS WITH YALE UNIVERSITY

Columbus High School had three student-athletes sign their national letters of intent on Monday afternoon.

Blue devils 5’10 178 pound running back and slot receiver, Tre’ Peterson signed to play football at Yale university on his 18th birthday. He’s will be studying biomedical engineering.

His teammate, 6’1 267 pound lineman Blake Lawson is staying close to home and suiting up for the Columbus State University Cougars.

Right handed pitcher and shortstop Davis Livingston signed to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

Yale Signee, Tre’ Peterson lost his mother his sophomore year, he spoke on what she would say to him today.

“I feel like she would be speechless, overwhelmed with emotions,” says Peterson. “I’m going to dedicate the rest of my life to making her happy. Probably the most important day of my life. My 18th birthday and my signing day. Yale University, Ivy League bound. Let’s go.”
