Fort Benning Drill Sergeant Suspended Pending Investigation

A shocking fight video has emerged on scene out of a barracks on Fort Benning.

First news has confirmed an Army Drill Sergeant at Fort Benning is on suspension pending an investigation into an alleged assault in a violent incident with a trainee.

A video first shared to twitter and facebook shows what appears to be U.S. Army trainees during basic training inside barracks when a confrontation took place between one trainee and a drill sergeant who is seen wearing a neon vest.

The two placed their hands on one another in an altercation and the trainee was pushed back against the lockers.

Strong street language is used.

The drill sergeant eventually steps back as numerous trainees step between them and attempt to restrain and calm the trainee.

Military police and the Brigade command are investigating the incident and the drill sergeant has been suspended pending the outcome.
