Rain Moves Out This Morning, Sunshine for Sunday
A few isolated showers are possible before noon today before the skies begin to clear to partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Partly cloudy tonight with lows in the mid to upper 30s. Expect lots of sunshine Sunday with highs in the low to mid 60s.
High pressure begins builds up across the southeast to keep things dry Sunday through Monday afternoon before showers return to the forecast Monday night. Flow returns from the southwest setting a rainy tone for the rest of next week. Several shortwave disturbances will shoot through the region through Thursday keeping daily showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. There is increasing confidence for the possibility of severe storms on Wednesday. Damaging winds will be the main threat, but cannot rule out the possibility of tornadoes. We will need to keep an eye on that.
Temperatures look to be warmer than normal next week with highs in the 60s to around 70 and lows in the 40s and 50s.
