Prince Andrew Showed ‘Zero Cooperation’ To FBI
PRINCE ANDREW DIDN'T COOPERATE WITH THE US INVESTIGATORS IN THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN INVESTIGATION
(CNN) – Zero cooperation.
That’s how U.S. investigators describe their interactions with Britain’s Prince Andrew.
The FBI and U.S. Attorney’s office want to ask him questions about his relationship with accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein died from an apparent suicide in August while awaiting trial.
During a November interview with the BBC, Prince Andrew said he was willing to help law enforcement investigate Epstein.
But on Monday, the U.S. prosecutors said that hasn’t happened.
Queen Elizabeth’s son has been accused of having sex with underage girls at Epstein’s homes.
The Duke of York denies the allegations, but says he regrets his friendship with Epstein.
Buckingham palace has not responded to prosecutors’ claims of the prince’s lack of cooperation.
