Carver Forward Olivia Cochran Named to McDonald’s All American Game Roster

Carver High School senior forward Olivia Cochran has been selected to the McDonald’s All American game roster for the 19th annual girls game. This year, the game will be held at Toyota Center in Houston for the very first time. The McDonald’s All American game features 23 of the best high school seniors in the country.

The 6’3″ forward ranks no. 18 in the nation overall on, no. 4 in her position. The five-star recruit signed to play at the University of Louisville in November 2019. She will join Louisville signee Hailey Van Lith, a guard on the roster.

“I appreciate it from people who build me from the beginning,” said Cochran. “See how I’ve grown and how hard I’ve worked to get to where I am now. I can’t be nothing but, more than humble. I’m just happy and excited! I’m really ready to play. I can’t wait!”

Last season as a junior, Cochran led Carver to their first ever Class 4A state title. She averaged 26 points, 16 rebounds and eight blocked shots per game. She had 15 points and 11 rebounds in the state title game to cap a (32-0) season.

The game tips off on April 1, followed by the boys. Click here for the full McDonald’s All American roster.
