Rain Chances Return Thursday
Our slow warming trend will continue today, as we top out in the low 50s today. Still below our normal high of 58 but better than the middle 40s, from the previous days. As our next storm system moves closer to our area tonight the cloud cover will help keep temperatures in the middle 30s, for most of us. Rain chances increase Thursday afternoon as the warm front begins to approach our area. No severe weather or any flooding issues are anticipated with this storm, due to the lack of instability (unstable air). Rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will exit the area early Friday afternoon. Afterwards, a pleasant weekend is in store for us with highs in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine.
