Rain Saturday Ahead of a BIG Blast of Cold Air
Showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm or two is possible Saturday afternoon into the evening ahead of a much stronger cold front that will bring Old Man Winter back into play early next week. The rain moves out Sunday morning as a drier air mass make its way in. Highs will dip back into the mid 50s on Sunday and then comes the BOOM!
Frigid air pours in Sunday night knocking temperatures down into the upper 20s to low 30s for Monday morning. Daytime highs will struggle to push near 50 on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings will be the coldest of the week with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Highs and lows will slowly return to near seasonal by Thursday.
